Rowan Jacobs is a writer and director based in East London. Working in film and theatre, he produces work that challenges social paradigms on both the human level and on a broader scale - all exploring society and the modern world from a young person’s perspective.

His film work has shown at the London Lift-Off Film Festival and the London Feminist Film Festival and been featured in VICE, and his theatre productions have sold out performances and received four-star reviews.

His most recent play Life in Death premiered at the Camden Fringe 2018, and was described as "striking...intense...a thrilling 40 minutes".

His podcast play .om, commissioned by Hear First Productions in January 2019, is available now on Spotify and Apple Music.

His most recent short film Blackberrying was an Official Selection at the London Lift-Off Film Festival, and finished 5th out of 209 films in the audience vote.
